Teen sentenced for breaking 28 train car windows at museum

TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio —

A Uhrichsville teen has been sentenced for breaking 28 train car windows at the Dennison Railroad Depot Museum plus other vandalism.
    

NEWS9’s news partners at the Times-Reporter reported that the teen was sentenced to 60 days at a juvenile center in New Philadelphia. The sentence will be served on weekends.

The teen was also ordered to pay $6,000, which is about half of the total cost of damages.


Authorities said the teen admitted to breaking out windows of several train cars and causing damage to other businesses. He was 14 years old when he committed the crimes.
