2 arrested after theft at Wheeling business

WHEELING, W.Va. —

Wheeling police are investigating a theft at a business Saturday in the 100 block of National Road.

Police said some items were stolen from inside the business just before 1 a.m. As a result, officers tracked down and arrested 28-year-old Gina Jerrome, 28, for grand larceny, and Jacob Christopher, 24, faces two charges of receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.

A judge set Jerrome's bond at $10,000, and Christopher's bond is set at $5,000.

Both are in the Northern Regional Jail.
