Three more suspects in drug round-up arraigned

HARRISON COUNTY, OH —

Three more suspects in a drug roundup that resulted in 13 arrests in Harrison County were arraigned this morning in the Harrison County Court.

Timmy Jones, Charles Hython and Chad Potts appeared this morning in front of Judge Michael Nunner and faced charges of drug trafficking as well as a second-degree felony charge of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.

They are accused of bringing the drugs, including prescription pills, crack cocaine, powder cocaine and marijuana, to Harrison County from Steubenville and Youngstown.

All of the indictments in the arrests were secret indictments, meaning they are issued by the grand jury and have not been made public. The charges were brought against the three men this morning.

A $60,000
bail was set for Jones. Potts and Hython both have bail set at $45,000 and no pretrial dates have been set. .

Harrison county prosecutor Shawn Hervey said they have currently tracked down and arrested 13 of the 15 people whom they believe to be involved in the drug ring.
