Toronto Golf Team Has Impressive Season

The Toronto golf team had another exceptional year, finishing the regular season with a record of 11-4. It beat such teams as Steubenville Central, Edison, Indian Creek, Oak Glen, Big Red, Union Local and Weirton Madonna.

The Red Knights played the Fall Classic on September 8, and finished 12th of 28 teams. Just six days later, they went on to play in the Williams Invitational, where they placed third of eight teams.

Next up was the OVAC tournament, where the team placed third. Max King shot an impressive 78 on 18 holes.

The Division III East sectional was held at Willandale Golf Course near Strausburg. Toronto shot 341, placing fifth, which advanced them to districts. Toronto made the trip to the district tournament at Cumberland Trails Golf Course in Columbus, where they placed 13th of 14 teams.
