BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio —
A trial date has been set for one of two men accused of what police call a brutal killing committed during a burglary in Bellaire last year.
Brandon Phelps and Devin Wayne Fuller are accused of killing 92-year-old Lydia Ashworth in June 2012 at her home on Fourth Avenue.
The suspects, who are both from Bellaire, are facing charges of aggravated murder, burglary and aggravated burglary.
The trial for Brandon Phelps is set to begin on Jan. 22, 2014. Fuller's trial had not been scheduled as of Monday.
