Trinity Health Systems opens new offices for better access to patients

By Briona Arradondo

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio —

Trinity Health Systems held its grand opening of new offices in the K-mart plaza in Steubenville Friday to better serve patients. The central location gives better access to their needs, officials said.

"It's more convenient, and downtown, you know the parking was not the best," said Raymond Recinella, a patient. "They had valet. You had to leave your car, and sometimes you couldn't even get in front of the building (with people there)."

The new location combines the other offices scattered through town.

"This is more of the center of the community these days, and as you can see there's easier parking and more accessibility," said Fred Brower, the chief executive officer of Trinity Health Systems.

Five physicians are there from Brady Avenue Circle and downtown Steubenville offices. Officials said the physicians have seen patients there for nearly three weeks.

"It's starting to be very smooth. We do have a lab draw here, so our patients get their blood work done while they're here. We have EKG," said Dr. Frank Petrola, a physician. "Almost everything that we have that you would need is right here."

Patients said they expect the same primary care services, and now they just have easier access to the care they need without having to track down doctors.
