STEUBENVILLE, Ohio —
Two people were shot Wednesday evening at a Steubenville apartment complex.
According to Steubenville Police Chief Bill McCafferty, the two people were shot at the Heritage Place Apartments on Market Street. The shooting was reported around 9:30 p.m.
A large crowd gathered outside the apartments as police and other emergency responders arrived at the scene.
Police declined to confirm any additional information about the shooting. It is not clear if an arrest was made.
McCafferty said more information about what happened would likely be released Thursday morning.
