Two Wheeling Fires Ruled Arson

WHEELING, W.Va. —

Wheeling Fire investigators believe two fires that broke out within hours of each other in Wheeling last week were intentionally set.

The fires happened in the same apartment building at 2508 Chapline Street.

The first fire was small and firefighters extinguished it quickly. But the second fire tore through the back of the building, destroying parts of the four apartments inside.

No one was hurt in either fire.
