Vendors, campers, workers finish setting up shop for Jamboree 2012

By Kate Davison and  NEWS9

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio —

While campers and Jamboree In The Hills fans picked their spots and geared up for this year's country music extravaganza, workers finished last-minute preparations.

Vendors like Emily Agema said her stand is going to be rocking and rolling Thursday night. During the afternoon, Agema and her crew were making lemonade and mixing up batter.

"Everything starts getting crazier as the evening comes," Agema said.

A few steps away, medical tent director Staci Trudo said she was waiting for staff members and ambulances to roll in.

"We are preparing supplies, preparing equipment. And it sounded like this team will need all the help it can get later," Trudo said. "We see, on average, 200 patients a year."

Backstage, road crews were getting their setup down to a science.

WTOV9 is providing an exclusive, live, on-air broadcast of concerts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
