Vice President Joe Biden will visit Martins Ferry on Thursday, according to a news release from the president's re-election campaign, Obama For America.

Biden will travel to eastern Ohio on Wednesday and Thursday. In Martins Ferry, he is scheduled to make remarks to a group of invited guests at Staffilino Chevrolet. According to a news release from Obama for America, the family-owned car dealership was "saved by the rescue of the auto industry."

The release said Biden will "highlight the impact of President Obama's efforts to strengthen the region's manufacturing and auto industries, as well as bolster middle-class security for Ohio's workers."

WTOV9 and WTOV9.com will broadcast Biden's remarks live from Martins Ferry on Thursday. He is scheduled to start his address at 10:15 a.m.

The two-day tour will also include a stop in Youngstown. There, Biden is expected to visit M7 Technologies, an advanced manufacturing facility, and discuss "the President's efforts to create an economy built to last one where hard work pays off, responsibility is rewarded and everyone plays by the same set of rules."
