WELLSBURG, W.Va. —
Officials said there is a scheduled water service outage for Wellsburg customers starting Friday night.
The outage is scheduled to start at 11 p.m. and is expected to last until approximately 7 a.m. Saturday.
During that time, crews will repair a valve at the intersection of 12th and Charles streets.
Once water is restored, a 48-hour boil water order will be in effect.
Customers may experience discolored water during this time and should refrain from doing laundry.
