Weirton concert benefits Sandy Hook victims

By NEWS9

WEIRTON, W.VA. —

Musicians came together in Weirton Saturday night for the Heroes and Angels benefit concert to help those affected by the Connecticut school shooting.

A sampling of sounds on stage greeted those who attended. Organizers said the event is about unity in the community.

"The togetherness that we're sharing here tonight that's about to start is just so important, and love is everything," said James Keller, the organizer.

Keller said he has a similar benefit event planned for next month due to the large amount of interest from area musicians.
