OHIO COUNTY, W.Va. —
West Liberty University will ring in 2013 by being a tobacco-free campus.
Signs were posted on and around the university's campus during the last few weeks of the fall semester informing students, employees and visitors about the new policy.
The tobacco-free policy will prohibit the use of tobacco products on all university grounds and parking areas.
The policy officially goes into effect on Jan. 1.
