A Wheeling man is dead after the dump truck he was driving crashed into a tractor trailer on Ohio Route 7 Tuesday afternoon.
The Ohio Highway patrol says 43-year-old William Campbell of Wheeling died in the crash.
Patrolmen say Campbell was turning left from Route 7 to Hanover Street in Martins Ferry when he hit a tractor trailer headed north.
Patrolmen are investigating whether machinery malfunction led to the crash.
