Wheeling may hire outside firm to help find ways improve work safety

WHEELING, W.Va. —


The city of Wheeling hopes to hire an outside firm to take a look at how to improve work safety.

Council heard a first reading of an ordinance to spend about $40,000 with McKeen Security.

The company would look at ways to improve the work atmosphere with the city’s human resource department with the goal of preventing injuries and lawsuits.
