WHEELING, W.Va. —
The Wheeling Nailers hockey club will be receiving thousands of dollars in grant money from the West Virginia Tourism Commission with the beneficiaries being three West Virginia casinos, two of which are local.
The hockey club will receive $23,000 from the commission.
It was not known as of Monday how the grant will be used.
The Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort and Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack were two of the biggest beneficiaries for the tourism commission.
