JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio —
A woman suspected of a theft in Brooke County was arrested over the weekend in Jefferson County.
Acacia Gaudio was detained by police on Saturday on a fugitive from justice warrant.
Court officials said Gaudio is a suspect in a theft case out of Wellsburg. On Monday, Gaudio requested an attorney rather than waive her extradition to West Virginia.
Gaudio remained in the Jefferson County Jail as of Monday afternoon. She is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on Friday.
