Dear Ohio Valley School:

Thank you for showing interest in having a Severe Weather Team 9 meteorologist and Snowbird visit your school. As you can imagine, WTOV9 receives many requests each year for school visits. While we do our best to accommodate requests, not all can be accomplished because of scheduling conflicts. Typically, we schedule one school appearance per week between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. However, because of changing weather and the need for meteorologists in the Weather Center, we may have to cancel a school visit at the last minute.

To request a visit, please e-mail weather@wtov.com and put “School Visit Request” in the subject line. Be sure to include a contact name, phone number, e-mail address and what dates and times would work best for your school. Our news managers take all requests into consideration and will notify you if we can accommodate your request.
