WWDD For August 15th Weekend

Related

Besides getting your kids ready for school, or college kids off to school, do something for yourselves - and here are some ideas:

For kids and parents, the wildly popular WIGGLES perform at Mellon Arena Friday and Saturday.

Mark Statler's 24th Annual Homecoming Concert is Friday at Oglebay's Amphitheater and also features the 11/70 Band.

3 Doors Down and Our Lady Peace rock the Chevrolet Amphitheater at Station Square Friday and, Saturday starting at 1:00 p.m., it's the Best of the Unsigned Bands.

Sha Na Na plays to a sold out crowd at Wheeling Island Saturday.

The Brooke Hills Playhouse ends the season with "Pumpboys and Dinettes" this weekend and "Thoroughly Modern Millie" can be enjoyed at the Benedum through Sunday.

The Greater Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival takes place over the next few weekends. Go to www.pittsburgh.com for more info.

And here are your movie choices:

Kevin Costner produces, directs and stars with Robert Duvall and Annette Bening in OPEN RANGE, a movie that follows 4 cattle herders in the final years of the Wild West.

Brittany Murphy plays Molly Gunn, the toast of the Manhattan social scene, until her inheritance is stolen and she is forced to get a job as a nanny to a precocious 8 year-old girl.

The battle is on between silent stalker Jason Vorhees and dream master Freddy Krueger as the battle wages from Elm Street to Camp Crystal Lake in FREDDY VS. JASON.

And 4 skateboarders follow a major skateboarding tour trying to get noticed and become stars themselves in GRIND.

And the Steelers play the Eagles Saturday night at Heinz Field.

Start having a great weekend right now.
