Okay, we're winding down but there are still entertaining choices out there:

The popular 60's group, The Turtles, is still happy together and performing at Wheeling Island Friday night.

Iron City Brewery sponsors The Strongman Challenge tomorrow at Mountaineer starting at noon. Have you ever seen these contests on ESPN? It is amazing what some bodies can do. This is the real deal, folks, with lots of heavy lifting and a 3-keg event that isn't a drinking contest. But there will be food, beverages and the Iron City Girls to also check out pool-side.

The Greater Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival continues this weekend and features a Celtic weekend with bagpipes and dancing. The mythical 16th century village of Morelandshire is in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania. Take exit 51A off Interstate 70, 7 miles west of New Stanton.

Tuesday, "Chicago" was released on video and dvd for rent or purchase. Check it out if you haven't already seen it. Remember, it won the Academy Award for Best Picture, Best Supporting Actress (Catherine Zeta-Jones), Editing, Sound, Set Design, Costume...

New movies opening Friday:

Damon Wayans is rapper Dr. S who gets an image makeover from Lisa Kudrow when protests break out over his new CD in MARCI X.

THE MEDALLION stars Jackie Chan as a Hong Kong cop who's martial arts abilities take on a whole new dimension as he investigates a mysterious medallion.

Ashton Kucher is an eager but accident-prone executive who housesits for his boss and tries to win the heart of his daughter but gets interrupted by a steady stream of unexpected houseguests in MY BOSS'S DAUGHTER.

And ready or not it's kick-off in the Ohio Valley this Friday with high school football - first Game of the Week will be televised at 11:45 p.m. on WTOV9. Check out all the televised game schedule right here on the website (see the Home page for details).

So have a great weekend whatever you do.
