You just have to make plans to go and see THE LION KING. It opens at the Benedum Friday, January 9th and runs through February 15th. I cannot urge you enough to experience this production. I have to use the word awesome to describe how this popular animated Disney musical translates to the stage. DON'T MISS IT!

Speaking of missing it, if you are a Sopranos fan, don't miss the activities going on through the 15th at Mountaineer Racetrack and Gaming Resort - everything from a Tony look-alike contest to a Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra karaoke contest - AND, on Thursday, you can wine and dine with James Gandolfini and other cast members for a "family" dinner.

Jazz fans, Jazz at the Stifel presents Miami's Tim Eyerman Saturday at 8:00.

The comedy MY BABY'S DADDY follows 3 young men who take responsibility for their children when their girlfriends get pregnant at the same time.

And the NFL playoffs continue Saturday and Sunday.
