Steubenville is the happening spot this weekend as it celebrates its Bicentennial with the Greek Festival, the Ft. Steuben Festival and the Dean Martin Festival.

Friday at 6 it's the Dean Martin Social Hour, silent auction and film festival all at Jefferson Community College.

Saturday at 10:00 a.m. the Dean Martin Memorial Mass will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 711 South Street. At noon it's the Bicentennial Parade through downtown Steubenville with Deana Martin as the Grand Marshal. There will be entertainment and a live auction afterwards at the Steubenville High School Commons.

Local clubs, Jaggin' Around and The Spot Bar will have musical entertainment including Dean Martin and Friends impersonators tonight and tomorrow. Rooney's offers the US Kids Friday and TBA on Saturday night.

On Sunday at the Ft. Steuben Park, the Bicentennial Bell will be dedicated at 5 p.m.

Other happenings are Creegan Company tours, Welsh Classic Car Museum and the food and dancing offered by the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 4th and South Streets.

At the movies:

Still another movie from the pages of Marvel comics, THE HULK, brings us the story of research scientist Dr. Bruce Banner whose failed experiments cause him to mutate into a powerful, out-of-control green monster.

Luke Wilson plays a novelist with a gambling problem who accepts an advance on his next book to pay off his debts. Kate Hudson plays the typist who helps rid him of writer's block and inspires his love story in ALEX AND EMMA.

And the summer's biggest beach party hits the screen with FROM JUSTIN TO KELLY, America's favorite idols.

Just so you know the 3 Rivers Arts Festival runs thru Sunday with food, music and, of course, the original works of local and national artisans.

On Saturday at the Capitol Music Hall it's John Conlee and at the Chevrolet Amphitheater at Station Square it's An Evening with Anita Baker. At Star Lake on Sunday it's The Doors.

And HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX hits stores Saturday. To me, that is entertainment and that's on my list of things to do this weekend too. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND WHATEVER YOU DO.
