The 45th Annual Three Rivers Arts Festival kicks off Friday with exhibits, food, activities and concerts throughout the downtown area around The Point. The festival continues for 17 days.

It's Rite Aid's Health and Beauty Expo at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, also in downtown Pittsburgh this weekend, with special guests that include Steeler Hines Ward, Christopher and Bobby of "The Sopranos," Tae Bo expert Billy Banks, soap opera stars and many more. There will be free health screenings, demonstrations and give-aways.

Saturday along North 4th Street in Steubenville, Family Services Association is sponsoring the Cruising to Care Car and Bike Show from noon until 5:00 p.m. For more information or involvement contact Tamye Knight at 283-4763.

Saturday night Charlie Prose brings his music and comedy to the Capitol Music Hall, and Kansas celebrates their 30th anniversary concert at the Chevrolet

Amphitheater at Station Square.

Sunday at Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Pavilion it's Y-108's Hot Country Jam featuring Keith Urban, SheDaisy, Buddy Jewel and many more.

Only one movie opening this weekend but it's a BIGGIE:

The 3rd Harry Potter book, HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN, comes to life on the big screen as a renegade wizard, Sirius Black, escapes from prison in search of Harry.

And GIMME THE MIKE debuts at 10:00 p.m. on WTOV9 on Friday. 6 local singers perform and a panel of 3 judges will select one to compete with winners from 4 upcoming shows in the finals. Tune in and make your selection. If your favorite doesn't win you still have a chance to vote them into the finals. All the details will be explained on the show.
