You know I try my best to get all of the area's actvities on my Friday segment but sometimes there are so many things going on and I can't give each item the attention they deserve so here's what's happening and all the details I have:

FRIDAY'S CHOICES: Popular Irish balladeer, storyteller and all-around entertainer, Seamus Kennedy, will perform at St. Florian Hall at 7:00 p.m. This benefits F.O.P. Lodge 97 and the Wintersville Fire Dept. Tickets are $15 and more info's available at 740-264-4811 or 4886.

Steubenville native Mark Eddie brings his comedy to the IMPROV in Pittsburgh Thursday through Sunday. He's my friend and an extremely talented and funny guy - check him out.

One of the greatest ballets of the Romantic Era, Gieselle, will be performed by the Pgh. Ballet Theater at the Benedum through Sunday.

The Nailers take the ice at Wesbanco Arena tonite and Sunday and on Saturday it's Wheeling Central's SUPER BINGO there.

SATURDAY'S CHOICES:

Speaking of ice, Stars On Ice will be at Mellon Arena on Saturday.

Aaron Tippin is at the Pepsi-Cola Roadhouse.

In search of the next star, the Capitol Music Hall hosts Starquest.

The East Liverpool Motor Lodge's Comedy Club happens every Saturday night at 9:30.

A BIG "FUN"RAISER at Ernie's Esquire Saturday starting at 7:30. Auctions with over 150 special items and musical entertainment by John Angotti and B.E. Taylor highlight this evening dedicated to The Upper Ohio Valley Sexual Assault Help Center and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Northern Panhandle.

MOVIES:

I really like last week's new offerings, "Starsky and Hutch" and "Hidalgo." This week here's what we've got:

Frankie Munoz is back in AGENT CODY BANKS 2: DESTINATION LONDON as he goes undercover to catch a rogue CIA agent, who just happens to be the same agent that trained him, who's stolen a top secret mind-control device.

Johnny Depp is a writer who is stalked by a psychotic stranger who claims he stole his best story idea in SECRET WINDOW.

When a daughter of a high-ranking government official is missing and then reported dead, 2 special operations investigators continue the search and find themselves at the center of a dangerous conspiracy in SPARTAN.

And just in time for St. Patrick's Day, Jefferson Community College hosts an Irish afternoon Sunday at 2:00 featuring music and a film trip to Ireland. Irish coffee and cookies included. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for Sr. citizens and $3 for students, and more info is available by calling 740-264-5591 ext. 194*end*

So there's the scoop - make your plans and have a great weekend whatever you do.
