WWDD For The 4th Of July Weekend

Fly That Flag Proudly

By now you probably have made plans for the long 4th of July weekend. Your best bet is to go to our homepage and click on the Summer of Fun icon at the lower right hand side of the screen to see specifics about all the events going on in the Ohio Valley.

As for me, I will be busy at the 2nd Annual Renaissance Festival in Weirton. There will be entertainment, food, games, contests, and the Weir's The Mike Karaoke Contest.

I'm also looking forward to the Weirton/Steubenville Fireworks Display from the Ft. Steuben Bridge on Monday night. Toronto also has an awesome crowd-pleasing show that night.

In between there's Toby Keith at Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Pavilion Saturday and Sunday nights.

And Bret Michaels is at the Pepsi-Cola Roadhouse Saturday night.

The Wheeling Symphony performs Sunday at 7:30 on the grounds off Three Springs Drive, Weirton.

And at the movies and Winter Drive-In it's WAR OF THE WORLDS and REBOUND.

But whatever you do, take some time and realize how blessed we are to have the freedom to choose what we want to do over this holiday weekend and everyday in the USA, and Fly That Flag Proudly.

Have a fun, safe, wonderful long weekend.
