St. Clairsville, East Liverpool Finish Top Six At State Golf

St. Clairsville finished strong at the Ohio State Golf Championships in Columbus, placing 5th in Division II on Saturday.

 Red Devil golfers Adam Jeffries and Zach Keylor both earned second team All-Ohio. Jeffries fired a 162, tied for 9th overall. Keylor shot 163, tied for 11th.  The Red Devils cut 25 shots off their total from Friday, to finish with a 679.

East Liverpool was sixth overall, six shots behind the Red Devils.  Blake Prince led the Potters with a 166. 

Dayton Oakwood was Division II champion.

On the girls' side, Claymont finished 11th, paced by Shelby Thompson's 9th place effort.
