St. Clairsville's Eaton Impressive At Canton Christmas Swim Meet

St. Clairsville junior swimming standout Michael Eaton shined against swimmers from some of the top big schools in Ohio Saturday at the Canton Christmas Invitational.

Eaton won the 100 breast stroke in :58.77, beating swimmers from large Division I schools such as Cincinnati St. Xavier and North Canton Hoover.   His time in the prelims of :58.72 is a new all-time OVAC record. The old record of 58.88 stood since 1999, belonging to Linsly's Theron Pappas.

Eaton also finished 7th Saturday in the 100 freestyle at :48.96.
