Stickles Takes Over Edison Football Program

Oak Glen assistant coach Derrick Stickles has been hired as the new head football coach at Edison.  Stickles takes over for Mike McKenzie, who resigned following the 2012 season.

Stickles was the offensive line coach at Edison under McKenzie during the 2010 and 2011 seasons, before returing to his alma mater to serve as offensive coordinator in 2012.

Stickles currently teaches at Oak Glen but is expected to join the teaching staff at Edison.

He was a standout running back in college for West Liberty University.
