About 500 people gathered in front of the Belmont County Courthouse for a rally on Election Day to spread the word about the country's current economic state.Among the speakers was "Coach Dave" Daubenmire, a former coach and radio commentator who staged a sit in at Rep. Zack Space's office in protest of health care reform. Tuesday, Daubenmire told people about the importance of voting."We have to focus on the fact that we can make a difference right here where we live with our school board, with our sheriff, with our county commissioners. We have to begin one person at a time to try and affect change right where we live," he said. The rally was sponsored by the grassroots organization "We The People Of The Ohio Valley."
