McCain May Stop In Valley Friday

WHEELING, W.Va. -- Presidential candidate Sen. John McCain may make several stops in Ohio and West Virginia on Friday, including possible stops in Weirton and Wheeling.Sources said that McCain has plans to stop for a few minutes at several locations in our area, including possible stops in Weirton and Wheeling. Sources said these stops could be cancelled due to time constraints.McCain has stops planned for Friday in Dayton, Columbus and Cambridge.

On Wednesday, McCain picked Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate, making her the first woman to serve on a Republican presidential ticket. McCain made the announcement shortly after 10:35 a.m. Friday.Palin, the 44-year-old, mother of five, was elected into office in 2006.
