WHEELING, W.Va. -- U.S. Rep. Alan Mollohan called a federal health care reform bill an "excellent product" and said his greatest concern is getting the bill passed in a timely matter.

"Everybody can get health insurance -- it funds the health insurance bill. You can disagree about how it funds it, you can disagree about different ways of doing things in the bill, but overall I think it's really an excellent product," Mollohan, a Democrat from West Virginia, said.

He said he hopes the Senate will move forward and pass the bill by the end of the year.

Mollohan was in the Ohio Valley Friday to speak about the significance of the American flag at Wheeling Park High School. Mollohan's visit was part of Veterans Day Week at the school.

The visit was Mollohan's first to the school. He also took a tour of the campus and handed out books to students.
