Pass, Punt & Kick - Official Rules

BEFORE PROMOTION:

1. Promotion contestants must be selected as follows: One (1) contestant will be randomly selected from completed entry forms, which must correspond with the name of the person selected to participate. The deadline for submissions is July 22. The selection may not be made sooner than 2 days prior to the start of the event on July 25. The individual selected CANNOT choose another person to participate on his/her behalf. No one contestant may be selected to participate on more than one occasion.

2. The following classes of people shall be INELIGIBLE to participate:

  • a. Current or former professional or semi-professional football, soccer, and rugby players and coaches who have played or coached at that level anywhere in the world.
  • b. Current or former collegiate or junior collegiate football, soccer, and rugby players and coaches who have played or coached at that level anywhere in the world within the past five (5) years.
  • c. Current or former high school football, soccer, and rugby players and coaches who have played or coached at that level anywhere in the world within the past five (5) years.
  • d. Current or former Olympic soccer and rugby players and coaches who have played or coached at that level anywhere in the world within the past (5) years.
  • e. Current or former employees, family members, agents, successors, or assignees of the client or any promotional agency involved with this promotion.
  • 3. Contestants shall not be permitted any practice, warm-up, or qualifying passes, punts, or kicks, at anytime after his/her notification of participation in the promotion until the actual prize attempt(s).
  • B. DURING PROMOTION

    1. Two client representatives or officials must supervise the event and are responsible for the contestants understanding of the terms and conditions of this promotion.

    2. Contestants shall not be permitted any practice, warm-up, or qualifying passes, punts, or kicks, at any time prior to the actual prize attempt(s).

    3. In order to qualify for prize reimbursement, and eligible contestant, using a regulation High School, NCAA, NFL, or Arena football, must successfully:

  • a. Start from behind the end line (back line of end zone) and PASS the football towards the opposite end zone, then;
  • b. Start from behind the exact spot where the previous pass first hit the ground or crossed a sideline out of bounds and PUNT the football towards the same end zone, then;
  • c. With the ball placed at the exact spot where the previous punt first hit the ground or crossed a sideline out of bounds, successfully KICK a field goal through the regulation goal posts at the opposite end of the field from where the sequence started.
  • 4. It is imperative that the EXACT sports where the pass and punt FIRST hit the ground or cross a sideline out of bounds are marked and that each spot becomes the spot where the ensuing punt or kick is initiated. Moving the starting point of either the punt or kick towards the center of the field is prohibited.

    5. No form of kicking tee or other artificial means of elevating the ball may be used during 3-c (the kick) above. Contestant must have a holder to keep the ball upright and one end of the ball must be touching the ground.

    6. No forms of football or soccer kicking shoe may be used.

    7. No part of the contestant's body or clothing may come in contact with the demarcation lines/spots prior to passing, punting, or kicking the ball. Any such contact shall constitute a foul and the prize attempt shall be considered missed.

    8. The eligibility of each pass, punt, and kick is subject to the NCAA and/or NFL rules of football.
