Steubenville Big Red Opens Season With Win Over Indian Creek

Steubenville Big Red kicked off the 2008 high school football season with a 34-0 win over Indian Creek.Big Red scored on a Dwight Macon 7 yard run to cap the game’s opening possession and then added two morefirst quarter scores on passes of 36 yards to Trey Wiggins and 11 yards to Sage Cutri. A one yard Branko Busick touchdownrun gave Big Red a 27-0 lead in the second quarter which they took to halftime. The game’s final score came on a third quartertouchdown pass from Dwight Macon to Trey Wiggins which covered 17 yards.
