Saturday morning, fans hit the stores in search of their own piece of victory after a 2-1 win by the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Sports stores and shops across the Ohio Valley have been scrambling to meet the demand.

"It's been crazy we've had a thousand phone calls asking about them, asking when we were going to get the hats. … We’re getting the hats on Tuesday by the way. We had people lined up this morning at 9 in the morning to get shirts, we've probably sold maybe 60 or 70 shirts," said Brianne Booth from "Velocity" in the Ohio Valley Mall.

Fans are expected to continue to hit the stores in search of their own piece of Penguins history.

Most people just happy they've got theirs before they all sold out. Stores say not surprisingly things are going fast.

Some of the hottest items are the championship T-shirts and hats.
