Updated: Sunday, March 2 2014, 12:51 AM EST

Three wrestlers from the area brought home state titles at the Ohio and West Virginia state championships on Saturday.

Wheeling Park's Dylan Taylor was the lone local OVAC wrestler to win in West Virginia. Taylor earned a 6-4 decision over Parkersburg's Dylan Richards. Park also had a pair of runner-ups with Dallas Baciak and Eric Banks. The Patriots finished fifth overall in Class AAA. Huntington won the team title.

John Marshall's Cullen Ebbert was state-runner up in the 220 pound weight class.

Oak Glen had no finalists in Class AA-A but did finish runner-up to champion Independence.

Meanwhile in Ohio, Claymont racked up 137.5 team points to finish as runner-up to powerful St. Paris Graham in Division II.  Graham took first with 185.5 points.

Claymont had eight state-placers, including two champions. Sophomore Tyler Warner defended his title at 106 with a 2-0 decision.

His brother, Dustin, followed with an 8-4 decision over West Holmes' Cole Woods to bring home a second title to the Warner household.

Claymont's Garrett Harding was runner-up at 220.

Steubenville sophomore Tariq Wilson wrapped up a brilliant season with a runner up finish at 113 pounds in Division II. Wilson fell to Graham's Eli Stickley 9-0 in the finals.

More coverage from the state tournaments is coming up Sunday during NEWS9 at Six and again on the Wheeling Hospital Sports Sunday.
