Ali Myers

NEWS9 Anchor / Reporter

Ali Myers joined the NEWS9 team in March 2010.

She worked as the Belmont County Newsroom reporter before making the move to the anchor desk.  In January 2011, Ali anchored the Ohio Valley's first Saturday morning newscast.  She now co-anchors NEWS9 Sunrise.

 

A Belmont County native and graduate of St. Clairsville High School, Ali is glad to be delivering news to the people of the Ohio Valley.

 

Ali graduated with honors from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, where she double majored in broadcast journalism and public relations/advertising.  Ali had numerous internships and memorable experiences during her time at Duquesne.  She worked in the sports department at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and interned at WTAE-TV.  She studied international media and traveled abroad to Austria, Germany and France.  She also produced, anchored and reported for DUQ-TV, the university’s student-run newscast.

 

Ali is a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, working out and spending time with friends and family.  She's also a certified Spinning instructor.  If you see her out and about -- or have a story idea -- be sure to say hello!
