It's good to be home!

I joined the NEWS9 team in Februrary of 2007 as a sports anchor and reporter. I am excited to work for a station I grew up watching from my home in New Philadelphia, Ohio. There cannot be a better place to cover local sports than here in the Ohio Valley, where everyone is so passionate about their local teams and athletes!

Before coming home to the Valley, I was a Sports Director at WWAY-TV in Wilmington, North Carolina. While in Wilmington, one of my favorite assingments was following UNC-Wilmington's run to the 2006 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, providing live coverage from Greensboro. Before my stop at the beach, I was Sports Director at WOAY-TV in Southern West Virginia. While there, I had the opportunity to provide live coverage of two WVU trips to the Gator Bowl.

I am a 2003 graduate of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and a 1999 graduate of New Philadelphia High School. I have one brother who is a senior at Malone College in Canton, Ohio. My parents Karen and Kerry still reside in Tuscarawas County.
