Ashley Koe joined the NEWS9 team in September, 2007. She is based out of the NEWS9 Belmont County newsroom and can be seen covering stories in Belmont, Monroe, Noble, Guernsey and Ohio counties.

Before coming to the Ohio Valley, Ashley worked for WTHR, the NBC affiliate in Indianapolis. There she was an assignment editor, and spent most of her time managing the news schedule and maintaining relationships with city officials.

Prior to that, she gained broadcast experience during internships at both WTHR and WLFI in Lafayette, Ind. Ashley graduated from Butler University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, with a concentration in news editorial. There she wrote for the school’s newspaper, The Collegian. She was also a member of Alpha Phi sorority, and Freshly Brewed, the first all-women’s acappella group on campus.

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys visiting family and friends. She is looking forward to meeting new people here in the Ohio Valley and is excited to be working for the region’s number one news team.
