I joined the Severe Weather Team 9 team of meteorologists in April 2008. You can see me weekends on NEWS9 at Six and NEWS9 Tonight. I also provide weather forecasts for WTOV9 Weather Plus. I am happy to be forecasting the wide variety of weather for the Ohio Valley, from severe storms to heavy snow and all of the sunny skies in between.

Originally from Mars, Pa., I came to the Ohio Valley from Happy Valley – Penn State University. There I pursued a degree in meteorology, specializing in weather forecasting and communications. I did a wide variety of weather reporting at Penn State, ranging from national weather podcasts to local TV reports for PSN-News and the Campus Weather Service. Internships at KDKA and WTAE in Pittsburgh also confirmed my desire to provide the public with their hometown weather forecast.

When I am not working in the weather center, you can see me in the field covering news from around the Ohio Valley. I'm still always watching the weather as I spend a lot of free time on the golf course and the baseball diamond. I also cheer for the black and gold – the Pirates, Penguins, and Steelers. When you see me around the Ohio Valley, I would love to stop and chat about the weather!
