I'm very happy to have joined the NEWS9 team in April of 2006, especially since it's the station I grew up watching. I was born and raised in Wheeling, where I attended high school at Wheeling Central.

I spent four great years as a Mountaineer before graduating summa cum laude as an honors scholar from West Virginia University. It was at WVU that my interest in broadcast news began. I had many wonderful experiences working at U92, the campus radio station, and working on the weekends at WDTV in Bridgeport, West Virginia. At Channel 5, I had the chance to get hands-on experience in the business by reporting, producing and anchoring the weekend news.

Here at WTOV9, you can catch me bright and early in the morning alongside Dino Orsatti on NEWS9 Sunrise, then again at noon when I co-anchor NEWS9 Midday with Shelby Zarotney. When I'm not behind the desk, I'm in the field reporting your local news. I absolutely love my job because I get to see new faces and tell your stories each day. I'm happy to be working in the Ohio Valley because it's a place I call home!

Besides the news business, I love studying foreign languages, especially French. I had the opportunity to study abroad while in college and spent a summer living with a host family in Vendée, France. That was by far, one of my favorite experiences!

When I'm not on the job, I love spending time with my parents, brother and twin sister, grabbing dinner with friends, exercising and cheering on my alma maters, the Maroon Knights and the Mountaineers!
