Bridge Collapse Injures 1 in Turkey
A student was wounded in Turkey when a pedestrian bridge collapsed in the central province of Corum, the Dogan news agency said on Thursday (December 6). Security camera footage showed the moment when the bridge, weighed down with snow, collapsed. Local officials said a high school student suffered light injuries in the incident and was taken to hospital. The cause of the bridge's collapse is still being investigated but officials said repair work is already underway.
