Energy Powers GE Profits

General Electric's bet on boosting its energy business is powering its profit engine. GE's bottom line grew 7-1/2 percent in the fourth quarter despite the uncertainty plaguing the global economy. Profits rose 14 percent in its unit that makes oil and gas equipment. What's more, profits grew at every division. J.P. Morgan analyst Steve Tusa:
