Meteorologist Profile

Due to the melting snow and the increasing threat of moderate to heavy rain, the National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for the entire area except Tyler County beginning 7 pm Thursday and continuing until 8 pm Sunday. Low pressure to our west will slowly move east, keeping us in a mild and increasingly moist flow of air from the south. We should have some sunshine Thursday, but there will be lots of clouds and a few rain showers especially during the evening. Temperatures will rise into the middle 60's Thursday, and reach those levels again Friday, but we will have a better chance for rain and thunder by Friday afternoon and evening. The rain should continue Saturday into Sunday.

Today: Partly sunny, high 66.
Tonight: Cloudy, showers developing, low 49.
Friday: Mostly cloudy, becoming breezy, showers and thunder especially afternoon, high 63.
Saturday: Cloudy, windy, rain, low 44, high 54.
Sunday: Cloudy, breezy, light rain, low 40, high 48.
Monday: Cloudy, drizzle, low 37, high 46.
