WTOV9 WeatherPlus is a local weather station that you can get up to the second weather information on 24 hours a day.

How often is it updated?

With WTOV9 WeatherPlus local conditions and forecasts are always on, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Plus the local information comes from Severe Weather Team 9, the Ohio Valleys most trusted and respected team of Award winning Meteorologists. Kevin Carter, Jeff Oechslein and Mike Skurko are forecasting your weather right here in the Ohio Valley.

Where can I watch?

Jefferson County/Blue Devil customers (Toronto, Smithfield, Empire and Stratton) can watch on Channel 11.

Bellaire Television Cable Company customers can watch on Channel 7.

Centre TV Cable System customers (Warwood & Barton) can watch on Channel 59.

Comcast digital cable customers can watch on channel 208.

Powhatan Point Cable Company customers can watch on channel 59.

Other local cable companies will be adding it soon, so make sure you call yours to find out when.

I don't have digital cable, can I still watch WTOV9 WeatherPlus?

Yes, if you have a digital tuner on your television, you'll be able to watch WTOV9 WeatherPlus over the air on 9.2.

High pressure will control our weather over the weekend, but don't expect a lot of sunshine. Skies will remain mostly cloudy right through the weekend, although some breaks will yield a little sun at times. No precipitation is expected, and temperatures will actually run a bit above average. A storm is expected to develop over the weekend in the Gulf of Mexico and move northeast. This could bring some light rain to the area Sunday night and Monday, with more rain possible as we head into the middle of next week.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, high 53.
Saturday night: Variable clouds, low 40.
Sunday: Clouds with a little sun, light rain developing at night, high 55.
Monday: Mostly cloudy, light rain, low 41, high 55.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, low 41, high 55.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, rain showers developing, low 41, high 52.
