President Obama and Mitt Romney are starting to focus even more on next week's first Presidential debate next Wednesday in Denver, as Romney holds a fundraiser and rally in Pennsylvania, while the President will jet out to Nevada on Sunday and then take a few days to prep for that debate.
It is the first time that Romney has been in the Keystone State since July; the polls there have not been kind to the Republican nominee this year.
There have been 29 polls issued in Pennsylvania on the race for the White House - Mitt Romney led the first one back in February.
Since then, President Obama has led the next 28 polls; the poll average favors Mr. Obama by 8.3%.
For those Republicans who don't believe the polls - or who want me to focus only on the Rasmussen poll, which many GOP partisans think is not skewed - the latest Rasmussen survey shows a 12 point advantage for the President in Pennsylvania.
There are two ways to look at today - either Romney is just going to Pennsylvania to raise some money and has no chance to win that state, or Romney's team believes they do have a shot to change the calculus in that state.
The President's schedule over the next week is focused entirely on the first debate and the campaign trail, as after his event in Las Vegas, Mr. Obama will stay in Nevada over the weekend to prep for the debate next Wednesday.
Following the debate, the President will hold an event in Colorado and then fly to Columbus, Ohio for an event Thursday evening - then after spending the night at the White House - the President will be back in Ohio on Friday.
The President has been spending a lot of time in Ohio - some might wonder whether that shows the Obama campaign going for the knockout punch, or whether they are worried about the Buckeye State.
