For those of you yearning for milder days I have some good news for you . . . Old Man Winter's days are numbered thanks to the sun's strength as we approach spring.  The average high temperature increases 3 degrees per week starting with this week and continuing into early May. For example the average high for today is 38 degrees, one week from now the average high reaches 41 degrees.  By the end of February the average high climbs to 44 degrees.  One month from today the average high reaches the 50 degree mark!  Of course the weather doesn't always follow the law of averages especially as we head into spring.  Does anyone remember what happened March 13, 1993?  We experienced a blizzard!  So much for the average high of 50 degrees that day.  The point I am trying to stress is while we will still see some snow and cold in the weeks ahead it becomes increasingly harder to sustain a cold and snowy pattern.
