New York, NY -- (Sports Network) - Jia Perkins scored 19 points and dished out three assists to lift the Chicago Sky over the New York Liberty, 69-60, at Madison Square Garden.

Candice Dupree chipped in 12 points and Sylvia Fowles posted 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Sky, who played for the first time after having a month off due to the Olympics.

Essence Carson netted 19 points for the Liberty, who were held to just eight points in the final quarter.

The Sky shot 45 percent from the floor and caused 17 turnovers.
